After ten years of extraordinary service at Destiny, the late Reverend Dr. Robert L. Walls, Sr. recommended Reverend Walker to the officers and members of The New Macedonia Baptist Church, Washington, DC to become his Co-Pastor and successor in the biblical model of Moses and Joshua in January 2001.  Reverend Walker was overwhelmingly elected as New Macedonia’s third Pastor in June 2003.
