Our First Lady


First Lady Priscella Walker
is a native of Norfolk, VA, and a graduate from Maury High School. She attended Norfolk State University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from West Virginia University. First Lady Walker is the youngest of four wonderful sisters and they enjoy an extremely close relationship.

She was employed by the U.S. Customs Service, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network and the Internal Revenue Service as a Senior Intelligence Research Specialist/Analyst. She received numerous citations and awards during her 15 year tenure within the Federal Government. Presently, she enjoys serving as a full time homemaker to her family and serving as a Room Parent to the Clinton Christian School, Upper Marlboro, MD. Over the past 9 years, the Lord placed First Lady Walker in the honorable position of caregiver to her parents, Deacon Stephen Harris and Sister Annie Harris. Particularly, Sister Walker served her mother after she suffered a debilitating stroke. Both of them now rest in heaven. Sister Walker was led to the Lord by her husband and accepted Christ as her personal Savior in 1987. She was baptized at the Isle of Patmos Baptist Church, Washington, D.C.

Sister Walker is very interested in the development and spiritual growth of women in the body of Christ. She served as the Director for the Women's Ministry and coordinated several conferences, retreats and women's events at her former church, Destiny Baptist Church, Martinsburg, WV. In addition, she served as a role model, confidant, and spiritual mentor. Many lasting relationships were established because of genuine bonds that were created through placing trust in God. First Lady Walker also has a strong passion for the spiritual and social nurturing of children, God's greatest resource to humankind.

She presently serves as one of the Bible Study Teachers for middle school aged youth at her present church, The New Macedonia Baptist Church, Washington, D.C. She also serves as the Ministry Leader for the Women's Ministry and is an active member of the Hospitality Ministry, Connection Partner Ministry, and the Assistant Ministry Leader for Vacation Bible School. Sister Walker also serves as the Special Coordinator for various community events hosted by her Pastor.

She is married to an incredible man of God, Rev. Patrick J. Walker and they are blessed with two amazing and beautiful children, Maya Bethany and Patrick Jonnathan, II. She is a woman of grace, humbleness, and refined strength. One of her favorite bible verses is, "But if we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin." I John 1:7.
